The Iraqi American Community is a nonprofit organization was founded in 2020, Serving Iraqis and the middle eastern communities in Houston and surrounding areas. The organization has become very active in the community of Houston. We always see them organizing the gathering for the Iraqi and Arab families, they just had of a very successful gatherings “The Spring Picnic”, many and varies vendors were there, attendees had good time and enjoyed the food, the music, and the activities. They also celebrated Nawroz, which is the Kurdish new year, where the Kurds families showed up with their colorful traditional costumes and everybody shared the (dabka) dance with them.

The Iraqi American Community with the active board members, advisory board and their large number of volunteers will continue supporting the local businesses, promote authentic Iraqi food and cuisine, promote the Iraqi culture and heritage as their vision.
