A. Adana Taco Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 Lb. Ground Beef
- 1 Lb. Ground Lamb
- 1 Table Spoon Pepper Paste
- 1 Tiny Minced Red Bell Pepper
- 3 Pieces Tiny Minced Garlic
- 2 Table Spoon Fine Chopped Parsley
- ½ Table Spoon Salt
Preparation:
- Put all the ingredients in one bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Leave the mixture to cool for at least 3 hours with the top covered.
- Divide it into 6 oz pieces
- Put on skewers and cook on the grill. Alternatively, you can make flat and cook in pan 2 side
- Use 6 inches tortilla for your tacos
- Put your tortilla for 1 minute on your grill or pan
- Put your Adana kebab inside tortilla
- You can add sliced onions, lettuce, chopped tomato or any greens you want and it will be ready to serve
B. Beet Tarator
Ingredients:
- 4 Boiled and Shredded Beet Roots
- 2 Table Spoons Yogurt
- 2 Table Spoons Mayonnaise
- 1 Table Spoon Apple Cyder Vinegar
- 7 Pieces Finely Minced Garlic Cloves
- 2 Tea Spoon Salt
Preparation:
- Mix all the ingredients and allow them to cook
- I suggest that put some inside your taco and it will give amazing taste
Kunefe:
Ingredients:
- ½ Lb. Small Cut Kataifi
- 10 Oz Unsalted Kunefe Cheese
- 4 Oz Purified Butter
- 1 Table Spoon Grape Molasses
- 12 Oz Water
- 10 Oz Sugar
Preparation:
- For syrup: mix sugar and water and boil it 5 minutes
- Separate a cup for cool down until room temperature
- Mix 1 minute molasses and butter
- Apply a thin layer on kunefe plate
- Add a thin layer of kataifi on top of butter and press strongly
- On top of this pressed kataifi add cheese small pieces
- Add one more layer kataifi on top of cheese and press strongly
- Make your burner very small fire or if electric make low degree heat
- Fry one side for about 5 to 7 minutes to give it a brown color.
- Take another kunefe plate and apply butter again
- Make first cooked plate upside down on this plate
- Fry this side same.
- Apply sugar syrup on hot kunefe as much as it takes immediately it has cooked.
- Prepare to sere by cutting pieces which you can put on crushed walnuts or pistachio
