The Story Behind the Halloween

Being in October, we expect to see the arrival of the Halloween Kills, which is among the two announcement sequels to the 2018’s Halloween success reboot. The 2018 release was almost the first new release of Halloween movies in nearly a decade.

Director David Gordon Green is coming to helm the sequel while Jamie Lee Curtis is coming back again. Laurie Strode and John Carpenter, the franchise creator, will again compose and participate in the executive production of the score. The iconic knife welding killer, Michael Myers, has been experiencing a lot of misadventures across the eleven movies he acted, among them being set on fire, tranquilized, and run over. Through the efforts portrayed in each of the movies, Myers has proven to be relentless over the decades and earned the status of a true legend of the horror movies.

Although some of the films did not have the same enduring quality as the original movies, Myers has been among the most legitimate terrifying members of the horror canon in modern times. The mask-wearing killing machine is characterized by only one feature: find Laurie Strode or another member of his family.

The first release was made in 1978 and has advanced through into the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, where Michael stabbed and stalked his way across many victims into the quest of his estranged relatives. Over the years, he continued to be a living enforcer of a very specific amalgamation of terror. Myers can be seen at once representing fears of obsession explicitly as well as persecution alongside the more abstract idea where they could never manage to live their past. No matter the deeds of his targets, and no matter the direction they might take, Michael Myers return is always inescapable and looming.

In Halloween 1978, minimal can be said about the first Halloween that has been ignored over the years. This release has been recognized as a classic for different reasons, including a masterclass in dread and masterclass.

In 1981, Halloween 2 was released with the return of Hill and the Carpenter to open the first Halloween sequel with the newcomer director called Rick Rosenthal. Halloween 2 was a continuation of the first, employing much of the same stiffness and darkness but suffering from weaker pacing and a looser story. This time around, Michael is portrayed as being more ruthless.

The final sequence doesn’t go anywhere beyond salvaging the film as Michael sets aflame in one of his most memorable deaths of the series. In 1993, Halloween 3 that featured the season of the witch was released. This was a move from the slashers where it was thought that Halloween would become an annual anthology franchise where a new installment could be made every October. In favor of the fantasy sci-fi pseudos’ fairy tales, Laurie and Michael were forgotten in the movie that featured a tale in which a company was trying to use children’s masks in summoning a plague of snakes and insects on the night of Halloween.

After six years, Michael made a comeback in season 4 of Halloween, featuring a quite apparent movie. The revenge of Michael Myers was released in 1989 on Halloween 5, while Halloween 6 featured the Curse of Michael Myers in 1995. Halloween H20 was released 20 years in 1998, while the resurrection was released in the year 2002. Other years of the Halloween release were 2007. 2009 and 2018 as we expect another hit this month.
