The mission of the event is to empower entrepreneurs to learn, innovate, collaborate and advocate for their businesses. The vision is to inspire entrepreneurs to change the world by giving back to their community through their businesses. The UpperRoom Events Team collaborates with a wide range of partners to create events that inspires and educates.
The Entrepreneur Xperience is an annual event that provides interactive discussion that is incredibly open and honest about the entrepreneurial experiences. Real world examples and insights are shared by speakers who are leaders in their industry. The event offers creative networking that is not only fun but fosters real connections.
On Saturday, November 12, 2022, Guests were welcomed into the artistic restaurant, Warehouse 72, wand was greeted with a fine dining experience. Music filled the room by DJ 1NTown. The event opened with a prayer by Pastor Simone Smart. Keynote speakers Donna Marshall-Payne founder of Doing Far More, LLC and Nike Ojo, CEO of Discovered Homes Investment gave a speech that rocked the roof on the topic, “The Power of a Female Founder!”
During 2 separate panel discussions attendees heard from expert guest speakers.
The first panel discussion included: Crystal Sarmiento, Founder of The Ari Source, Centrell Reed, Owner of CGM TV, Huyen Do, Owner of DROX Investment Group, Dr. Ezenwanyi Ahaghotu, Owner of Royal Healing and Elvia Quintanilla, Over of Texas Technical Trade. The second Panel discussion included: Raven White, owner of Brown Sugar Cafe & Books, Sarah Rasnick, Life coach strategist, Florence Adeboye, owner of Estelle Bridals, Lisseth De Leon, owner of the DeLeon Group and Tiara LaRea Johnson, owner of Girl Boss Suites.
Guest were entertained by the amazing Flutist, Liah MissMusic and a world known singer Celeste!
The building was filled with entrepreneurs from all walks of life networking, connecting, and inspiring one another. It was indeed a memorable event! The event not only empowers entrepreneurs, but also fundraises for charitable organizations. This year Houston Angels was the deserving organization The UpperRoom Events was honored to give to and to serve. Houston Angels is a local chapter of a national organization offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building and mentorship for children, youth, and families in the foster care community.
