3 cups long-grain rice
1 cup boiled garbanzo beans
½ cups butter
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon black pepper


In a bowl, add the rice, cover with one inch of water…Leave for 1 hour then drain excess water.

In a heated pot add butter, add rice and fry for 4 minutes.
Add garbanzo beans, salt, and black pepper and mix them well.

Add turkey broth and regular boiled water to cover the mix. (One inch above the rice).

Cover the pot and reduce the heat. When rice absorbs all water, turn the heat off and mix it with a spoon and leave it for 10 minutes.

To serve, place rice on a dinner plate and add 1 piece of turkey leg.

You may add fried or boiled vegetables to the plate when serving.
